Great News! Gibson’s Card Gallery at The Mall has re-opened.

Gibson’s Card Gallery was closed in April for a while, but re-opened just a few days ago.

Gibson’s Card Gallery is one of the oldest independent shops in Chandler’s Ford. It specialises in birthday cards, balloons, and gifts.

1st Chandler’s Ford Boys’ & Girls’ Brigades Successful National Music Festival (Southern) 2015

On Saturday 28th March Chandler’s Ford Boys’ and Girls’ Brigades hosted The Boys’ Brigade Southern National Music Festival at Chandler’s Ford Methodist Church.

The festival offers all the young people in The Brigades, from across the south of England, the opportunity to participate in performing with one another as well as the chance to have their musical ability recognised. Comedy Review: Worth a Fortune by MDG Players

Worth a Fortune by MDG Players, spring 2015.

Chandler’s Ford MDG Players successfully performed yet another comedy, Worth a Fortune, to a packed audience at the Methodist Church, from 26 – 28 March 2015. My son and I watched it last night and we were hugely impressed.

Last Saturday (24th January 2015), Chandler’s Ford became the centre of media attention as a protest took place outside Chandler’s Ford Methodist Church.

A Muslim Conference was being held inside the Methodist Church on Winchester Road that evening.

The Unique Madding Crowd Concerts

The Madding Crowd is a performing group which researches and performs the church and secular music of the English village bands and choirs in the period 1660 to 1861.

The group was founded in 1975.

Central Precinct: 2014 Christmas Lights Now Switched on

The “Precinct Pals” welcomed Christmas today with mulled wine and mince pies in Chandler’s Ford.

Jimmy Peters, who grows and sells Christmas trees, has once again appeared at the Fryern Arcade of Chandler’s Ford selling Christmas trees.

Jimmy Peters’ Christmas trees come from Marwell.
