Great News! Gibson’s Card Gallery at The Mall has re-opened.

Gibson’s Card Gallery was closed in April for a while, but re-opened just a few days ago.

Gibson’s Card Gallery is one of the oldest independent shops in Chandler’s Ford. It specialises in birthday cards, balloons, and gifts.

Fryern Funtasia: Monday 4th May 2015

Fryern Funtasia on May Bank Holiday (Monday 4th May 2015, from 12pm to 4.30pm) will be the highlight in Chandler’s Ford.

Chandler’s Ford Parish Council facilitates the Fryern Funtasia on the Fryern Recreation Ground. It’ the 4th Fryern Funtasia.

Garden Opens in Chandler’s Ford

Love gardens? Each year hundreds of gardens open to the public through the National Gardens Scheme (NGS).

The National Gardens Scheme was founded in 1927. Individuals were asked to open up their gardens for ‘a shilling a head’.

The Cottage on Lakewood Road will be opened on Sunday 3, Monday 4, Sunday 10, Monday 11 May (2 – 6pm).

Admission £3.50, child free. Home-made teas.

Christian Aid Week – 10-16 May 2015

Christian Aid week will be from 10th to 16th May 2015. You may have Christian Aid collectors knocking on your door.

The Toynbee School on Bodycoats Road and Scantabout Primary School on Ionic Close will be closed to pupils on the election day as they are used as polling stations.
