Eastleigh Basics Bank generosity: Chandler's Ford people support Eastleigh Basics Bank.

Two days ago, on our way to Chandler’s Ford Train Station in the morning, my son and I saw Hazel Bateman outside St. Boniface Church, loading lots of things into the boot of her car.

Christmas Card Reunited Thanks To Streetlife

December 26, 2014 By Janet Williams 1 Comment

This Christmas, I did something remarkable – reuniting a Christmas card to its rightful recipient.

Every year I receive some cards to unknown people at my address. Perhaps the intentional recipients had lived here 20 years ago. Perhaps the senders never bother to update their Christmas card lists.

This year, one particular Christmas card felt heavy. It either contained a stash of cash or some photographs. [Read more…] about Christmas Card Reunited Thanks To Streetlife

Shop Local: Brambridge Park Christmas Craft Fair

Brambridge Park Christmas 2016 update:
Santa visits Brambridge Santa's grotto 2016

Below was my original post published on 20th December 2014

This morning I visited the Craft Fair again at Brambridge Park Garden Centre on Kiln Lane.

I bought a lovely crocheted blanket and mini crocheted crosses from Sue and Rachel Potter.

The theme for the blanket is a Tardis. The blanket will sit comfortable on my son’s lap when he watches Doctor Who at Christmas. [Read more…] about Shop Local: Brambridge Park Christmas Craft Fair

Apparently, there is a proposed new development up in front of the planning committee currently which effectively tacks on around 300 homes to the edge of the Knightwood Park development as it borders Castle Lane – [Read more…] about Land Off Castle Lane – North Baddesley – Proposed Housing Development
