Asda: Save the Children UK’s Christmas Jumper Day

Yesterday at Eastleigh Asda we took part in Save the Children UK’s Christmas Jumper Day.

Colleagues donated £2 to wear a jumper rather than uniform and took part in a competition to find the best jumper.

Here is a large group of us including most of our managers, and Margaret Hamilton and her husband (with the collection buckets), who were collecting for Save the Children in store yesterday after raising £420 for last weekend.

Jackie from Home Shopping won the contest with her hand embellished jumper, which featured added fur and flashing multicoloured lights!

On Sunday we will have The Rotary Club Of Eastleigh and their illuminated train outside the store from 10am to 2:30pm with Santa attending. See a picture from last year’s event:
