Brides in The Aisles for Countess Mountbatten Hospice

Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity “Brides in the Aisles 2015” event was held at the Haskins Garden Centre on Sunday 10th May 2015.

It was the CMHC’s second attempt at a Guinness World Record for the number of “brides” in one place.

Great News! Gibson’s Card Gallery at The Mall has re-opened.

Gibson’s Card Gallery was closed in April for a while, but re-opened just a few days ago.

Gibson’s Card Gallery is one of the oldest independent shops in Chandler’s Ford. It specialises in birthday cards, balloons, and gifts.

The Fairtrade Fashion Show brought many residents to St. Martin in the Wood church, where we learnt about the importance of buying Fairtrade products, and had a chance to appreciate and buy a wide range of beautiful Fairtrade clothes, jewellery and accessories, toys, cards, and gifts. Wednesday was the first showing of the Chameleon Theatre Company’s Fawlty Towers.

I got to see it on Tuesday night at a free “press screening” and a special night to entertain the elderly from our local nursing homes in Chandler’s Ford.

On Saturday 28th March Chandler’s Ford Boys’ and Girls’ Brigades hosted The Boys’ Brigade Southern National Music Festival at Chandler’s Ford Methodist Church.

Chandler’s Ford Policing: Burglaries and Traffic Problems. Eastleigh Police Station to Close

There was a PACT Meeting (Police and Community Together) at Merdon School on Wednesday evening 25 March. It was attended by many Neighbourhood Watch people.

Previous PACT meeting in December last year had a low turnout (only 11 people) but on this occasion there were about 40 people present.
