Christmas is approaching! This is very obvious when you visit a major shopping centre, watch adverts on television, etc. Indeed, the first invitation to buy Christmas cards came to me as early as September (or was it August?).

The Chameleons: Murder Mystery Raised Fund For Kings’ School Winchester

Members from Chandler’s Ford’s Chameleon Theatre Company recently staged a Murder Mystery radio play at the Kings’ School in Winchester.

Around 130 parents attended the event and enjoyed dinner while we entertained them on stage.

Humorous Little Memory: Montgomery Of Alamein School

Brian Green recalls Montgomery of Alamein School in Winchester.

On the first of July 1968, Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery visited Winchester and renamed Winchester County Secondary School for boys to Montgomery of Alamein School.

It was a significant event as it was the only Montgomery of Alamein school in the world.

Comet Rendezvous

Today one of the boldest, most audacious and exacting feats of space engineering will be attempted. The European Space Agency (ESA) will attempt to land Philae, a lander module, from the Rosetta spacecraft onto a comet known as 67P Churyunov.
