Fantasy Books by Richard Hardie: Now in Chandler’s Ford Library

October 24, 2014 By SO53 News 6 Comments

Would you like to encourage your teenage children to read over the half-term holiday?

The fantasy books for Young Adults by Chandler’s Ford writer Richard Hardie are now available in Chandler’s Ford Library and Southampton Civic Center Library, on the Teen / Young Adult shelves.

The two books are: Leap of Faith and Trouble With Swords.

Leap of Faith

“Merlin is a good-looking woman and madly in love with Arthur, but that’s only the start of the story. Tertia, Unita and Marlene know what they want to be… detectives with a difference. Bored with the lack of opportunity in 5th century Camelot they start up the Temporal Detective Agency and use the great Merlin’s Time Portal to relocate from Camelot to the 21st century mostly because the cases are more interesting, but also because the toilet facilities are so much better.”

“When Arthur’s sword Excalibur is stolen the Temporal Detective Agency is called in to protect not only Arthur and Merlin, but to stop a very clever and cruel person from destroying Camelot itself. To make things worse, this time the TDA has no idea who they’re fighting.”

Both books are also available from independent book shops and Amazon.

    Richard,
Are your books also available through the eBooks with Overdrive from the libraries too? Or are they just hard copies? Many thanks.

At the moment my books are hardcopy paperbacks only in libraries. They are, of course, available on Kindle as eBooks through Amazon. We’re hoping to launch the series as audio books during next year.
