Stroke Association and Rotary International Help Conquer Stroke in Chandler’s Ford

Physiotherapist Gemma will talk through the health benefits of staying active as you age, as well as the most suitable types of exercise for arthritis and osteoporosis. She will also dispel any myths and give top tips to get started safely

On Monday 10 April 2017 at 7.30 pm Chandler’s Ford Parish Council held an Extraordinary meeting of Full Council to discuss whether to agree to submitting the proposals for a 4-badminton court sports hall, refurbishment of the existing pavilion and removal and replacement of the first floor with a fitness room, two concessions rooms and a 40-space temporary car park at the Ashdown Road entrance for the construction period, forwards as a Planning Application to Eastleigh Borough Council for determination. Wooden Train Built by Eastleigh Men’s Shed Arrived at Chandler’s Ford Station

Today Eastleigh Men’s Shed group installed a new train on the disused platform at Chandler’s Ford Station to help brighten up the area.

Eastleigh Men’s Shed is a not-for-profit group based in Hamble.

New Wooden Train Planter for Chandler’s Ford Disused Platform

Seven volunteers spent 90 minutes cleared the disused platform at Chandler’s Ford last Sunday afternoon.

The aim is to provide a clear area on the old platform where a new wooden train planter provided by Eastleigh Men’s Shed will be placed, on Thursday 8 December 2016.
