Gurkha Chilli Hillboy Is Deliciously Hot

April 8, 2013 By Janet Williams Leave a Comment

Gurkha Chilli Hillboy

I bought a little jar of chilli last weekend from the lovely community store, Bay Leaves Larder, in Chandler’s Ford. It’s called Chilli Hillboy, from Gurkha Fine Foods.

It was a surprisingly breezy spring day without snow or rain. The sun was even noticeable for brief moments. My son and I walked to this local shop and I had a mission. I was looking for chillies. [Read more…] about Gurkha Chilli Hillboy Is Deliciously Hot

My initial emotion to the International Day of Happiness was bafflement. I pondered briefly, why do we need a specific day for happiness? I don’t need people to remind me of eating, drinking, or sleeping, but why do I need to be reminded of happiness? [Read more…] about International Day of Happiness

March 19, 2013 By Janet Williams 5 Comments

Welcome to this new Chandler’s Ford community website.

I would like to welcome the birth of this site with a short post about Fairtrade In Eastleigh.

I attended the lovely Fairtrade Coffee Morning last weekend at the Methodist Church in Chandler’s Ford. It was fantastic to meet a few local fair traders from Traidcraft and Tearcraft. [Read more…] about Welcome With A Fairtrade Message
