Age Concern Carol Service At Methodist Church

December 4, 2013 By Janet Williams 6 Comments

The Age Concern Carol Service at the Chandler’s Ford Methodist Church this afternoon was brilliant.

The Rev. Peter Cornick made us think about the true meaning of Christmas. Is Christmas just about shopping and eating? He asked.

Both the Thornden Wind Band and the Toynbee School choir performed beautifully at the carol service.

Many local residents and parents attended the beautiful carol service, together with the Mayor of Eastleigh, Councillor Malcolm Cross and Brian Hunt, Chairman of Age Concern Chandler’s Ford.

Credit to members of Thornden Wind Band co-ordinated by Rob Jones, and members of Toynbee School Choir co-ordinated by Miriam Marchant, and the wonderful team from the Methodist Church.
