July 5, 2017 By SO53 News 1 Comment

Here is a glimpse of some exciting events in and around Chandler’s Ford in the next few days / weeks.

Visit the Upcoming Events Chandler’s Ford page for regular updates.

Film: Astu – So Be It: Friday, 7pm on 7th July at Hiltingbury Community Centre (The Hilt)

Astu So Be It at the Hilt July 2017

Acclaimed Bollywood Character Actor, Dr Mohan Agashe is visiting Chandler’s Ford. A special screening of his multi national award winning movie ‘Astu – so be it’ is organised at ‘the Hilt’ on 7th July at 7PM.  This is a golden opportunity to meet Dr Mohan Agashe. He will be available to answer your questions at end of the movie.

Indian food is included in the ticket price.

About the movie: Astu is a thought-provoking movie, centered around “Appa”, Dr. Chakrapani Shastri, who is a retired director of a research institute and is now suffering from dementia. His daughter Ira and her doctor husband Madhav are trying to cope with Appa’s decaying memory. One day, Appa disappears…. Ira is caught in panic and a chain of Appa’s memory, whereas Appa is living his day moment-to-moment… How would the two parallel tracks meet?

Because food is included in ticket price, please confirm your attendance in advance by getting in touch with Dr. Shyam Karode (Mob: 07551962960 / Email: shyam_karode@hotmail.com). More about Hemalkasa Health Foundation.
