The Spitfires: 45th Anniversary Concert At Methodist Church

The 14th Eastleigh Scout and Guide Band will present The Spitfires this weekend.

Performing at Chandler’s Ford Methodist Church on the 5th October, the band are celebrating their 45th Anniversary, and also the launch of their new Corps of Drums.

Date: Saturday on the 5th of October 2013 at 7.30pm

Location: The Methodist Church, Winchester Road, Chandler’s Ford.

Tickets: Adults: £7; Concessions: £3< The Spitfires,  Chandler's Ford The Spitfires, Chandler’s Ford[/caption]

The Spitfires are a Concert and Marching band made up of members from the Scout and Guide Associations.

The 14th Eastleigh Scout and Guide Band is a concert and marching band based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. The band is made up of musicians aged 8 and above who are members of the Scout or Guide Associations all across Hampshire. The band performs all across the South of England in Concerts, Parades, Carnivals and Marching Displays.

The Band rehearses every Thursday evening from 18.30 – 21.00, and the ‘Beginners Band’ The Merlins on alternate Fridays from 18.30 – 19.45 at the 14th Eastleigh Scout Hut in Allbrook.
