July 22, 2016 By SO53 News Leave a Comment

Chandler’s Ford Care Home was delighted to raise £191 for Marie Curie during the recent National Care Home Open Day.

The day comprised of a blooming great tea party and was attended by residents, relatives and members of the local community.

There were cream cakes aplenty and money was raised through a raffle, cake sales, quizzes and other games.

Phil Chapman the HC-One Chandler’s Ford Care Home Manager commented, “Everyone involved had a lovely day and it was great seeing residents interacting with members of the local community, something we are keen to do much more of. I am very grateful to Marie Curie for their support and pleased we raised so much money for them.”
