I think it is correct to say that most dogs love snow, especially the thick coated dogs that are protected from the cold. My Newfoundlands, with double coats, will roll about in the snow, eat it, and will sleep undisturbed if allowed whilst the snow covers them.
Among the hazards to avoid are frozen lakes where the ice is never reliable and leaving dogs with thin coats outside for long periods. Otherwise, enjoy the snow.
Here is an old Youtube video of mine showing my Newfoundlands enjoying the snow in the garden.

Lady, my collie cross, loved the snow. Don’t think she’d seen it before yesterday. Has been eating it as if it was going out of fashion!

Alas, the snow is going. However, I managed to video Blue’s latest dance routine in the snow. Blue has just come second in the Winter Dog Video competition which is for Heelwork to music with dogs. Here is his dance in the snow.
