From Hampshire Constabulary: MISSING: Alison Milchem from Chandler’s Ford (2nd Feb 2018):

Have you seen missing Alison Milchem?

The 62-year-old was last seen in the Forest Road area of Chandler’s Ford before 10am this morning (Friday 2 February).

We are concerned for Alison’s welfare, and are asking the public to help us find her as soon as possible.

Alison is described as:

• White
• Approximately 5ft tall
• Short, curly grey hair
• Slight build

She was last seen wearing gym clothing.

It has been reported to us that Alison drove off in her car, which is described as a silver Toyota Yaris. The last three characters on the number plate are MKN.

Please keep an eye out for Alison and this vehicle.

If you see her, or have any information regarding her whereabouts, please call police immediately on 101, quoting incident 227 of today’s date (2nd Feb 2018).

Dial 999 in the event of an emergency.

Update from the police: 3rd Feb 2018

We are sad to update you that a body has been found in the search for a missing Chandler’s Ford woman.

The body was discovered in the area of Knapp Woods in Romsey.

The family have been informed. Formal identification procedures are ongoing.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
