Land South of Chestnut Avenue: Consultation Ends Monday 23 March 2015

March 13, 2015 By Janet Williams Leave a Comment

Many of you in Eastleigh are concerned about the development on North Stoneham Park.

Chandler’s Ford Today published a post last December on Land South of Chestnut Avenue and the exhibitions for the developer.

On the Eastleigh Borough Website, the consultation period is between 19 February and 23 March 2015.

Eastleigh Borough Council received the planning application for Land south of Chestnut Avenue north Stoneham Park Chestnut Avenue Stoneham Lane Eastleigh on 17 February 2015.

Planning Application Number: O/15/76023

Land South of Chestnut Avenue is a group of volunteers who passionately believe the 1,100 home development being proposed for the Greenbelt between Eastleigh and Southampton is misguided, and likely to cause severe and critical problems for Eastleigh and the surrounding areas.

Their website contains useful information to help you see the impact on the community should the project go ahead.

Volunteers from Land South of Chestnut Avenue have been distributing leaflets and information to advise local resident about the development, and the imminent deadline.

They hope that Eastleigh and Chandler’s Ford residents are aware of this critical time period, and voice their opinions.

Consultation period ends on 23 March 2015: Land south of Chestnut Avenue north Stoneham Park Chestnut Avenue Stoneham Lane Eastleigh.

Here are three important documents:

  • Planning Notification Letter
  • Online Planning Application
  • Council Leaflet on Commenting (including example letter).

There is also a petition to preserve Stoneham Park, the Green Belt and the Strategic Gap on Change.org.
