Theatre Royal, Winchester

March 13, 2014 By Mike Sedgwick 1 Comment

A Chandler’s Ford resident, Iain Steel, plays the hero/heroine, principal boy/girl in “La Cage Aux Folles” now playing at the Theatre Royal Winchester for the rest of the week. When you see it you will understand my confusion over the boy/girl bit. It was a great night out and we laughed so much. The cast may be amateurs but it is a very professional production. The costumes are great, the singing spot-on and the band is excellent.

Despite the title, it is in English though set in a St Tropez night club.
