Research: Supporting Dementia Carers. Need your Help.

August 24, 2018 By SO53 News 2 Comments

This post is written by Noreena Liu:

I am a PhD student at University of Southampton. Currently, I am researching ways to support dementia carers (people who have a relative affected by dementia). I have created a mock up game. The game shows different messages about dementia and gives advice for dementia family.

Now, I am looking for participants who have any relative with dementia. Participants will be asked to play this game or watch a video for 5 minutes and complete the respective questionnaire. It will take about 10 minute in total.

I will be extremely grateful If you could take part in this research by filling in the questionnaire.

I am also looking for participants to interview with open end questions. If you are interested, please contact me.

Many Thanks

Hello, I’m Allison Symes, and I have had three relatives with dementia. Have sadly lost all three in the last three years. Would be happy to help if that is of use to you.

    Hi

Both my parents had dementia and although they are both now dead, I would be happy to participate if that would be helpful.
