Marie Curie Fundraising Success At Chandler’s Ford Asante

August 31, 2014 By Ray Fishman 4 Comments

The local community came together again in Chandler’s Ford to raise much needed funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care on August Bank Holiday.

A special Sunday opening of Asante Coffee Shop saw old and new friends sharing a cuppa and a chat.

Shirley Barter, proprietor of Asante coffee shop, commented on the “lovely atmosphere in the shop”.

A splendid variety of cakes were available to eat in or take away.

As the local fundraising group chairman, I would like to thank Asante for helping make the occasion such a success. We raised the magnificent sum of £304.

I would like to thank all the lovely people who came along in support. What an enjoyable event and I can really recommend Asante’s bacon and brie panini, the best I have had in a long while!
