Hiltingbury Tennis Club

February 17, 2016 By Ray Fishman 2 Comments

Looking to play tennis in Chandler’s Ford?

Did you know that there is such a thing as the Hiltingbury Tennis Club? We’re looking for new members!

We are a small friendly club. We reserve courts to play social Adult Gents and Ladies Doubles tennis at Hiltingbury Recreation Ground on Wednesday evenings from April to September. Weather permitting we try to play other times too.

Following Club representation the outdoor courts have recently been completely refurbished. The playing conditions are excellent. If you have not seen or used the courts for a while because of the deteriorating surface come and see them. You will be pleasantly surprised.

The current annual membership fee is a very reasonable £20. There are no extra court fees. This means you can play tennis on Wednesday evenings on a “turn up and play basis” for up to 20 weeks per year.

Most evenings we play there are at least 8 persons playing. We play short sets so that everyone gets to play with a variety of partners. Chance to meet new friends or catch up with old ones.

There are no Andy Murrays or Jo Kontas amongst us. We just have fun!
