I’ve just read on BBC News that an emu’s daring escape caused traffic jam near Eastleigh this morning.
Miss Megan Strange took the photo on her way to work. Drivers were held up during the rush hour as the emu was wandering about.
This emu might have come from the farm that we walked past 2 years ago near Brambridge.
Here are some old photos of the particular path that we took, just off Brambridge garden centre. The scenery is wonderful and the sound of water is the most pleasing, though I would recommended you wear wellies for the walk.
During a guided walk I did in Hocombe Mead two years ago, I also heard about the story of a rampaging bull from Hocombe Mead causing chaos in Chandler’s Ford.
