Where in Eastleigh do you need to jump over a stream so you can see an emu?
We went to Brambridge for a leisure walk this afternoon. We should have worn our wellies.
We walked along the path between the Itchen River and on the other side, the Itchen canal. It was a narrow path. The water was spilling the path everywhere.
On the other side of the canal, there were a few emus, some sheep, and a few – alpacas (we think). A freight train went past at about 3pm.
Brambridge is only 10 minutes away from Chandler’s Ford by car.
We visited Brambridge Park Garden Centre after the walk. My son and I rewarded ourselves with ice-cream.
