What Are You Opening This Christmas?

December 18, 2013 By Janet Williams 2 Comments

I picked up a postcard by the Eastleigh Basics Bank last month in Eastleigh.

It asks an important question: “What are you opening this Christmas?”

The postcard features two images. One shows someone opening a bottle of champagne; another shows a person opening a tin of food.

The postcard carries this message, “Please donate to help those going without this Christmas.”

The Basics Bank is a ‘church led, community focused’ project which enables the community to practically support individuals and families who are in financial crisis. It provides food donated by individuals, schools, churches and local businesses to those in need within the Borough of Eastleigh.
