Yesterday afternoon I happened to be in Southampton, and was surprised there was an anti-Trump march at the Bargate.
There were tens of men, women, and a few small children.
Some of their placards carried these words: “Build bridges, not walls’; “Dump Trump”, “Trump Busters”, “Refugees Welcome Here”, “Girls just wanna Have Fun-damental human rights!”
It was part of a globally organised Women’s March against America’s new President, Donald Trump.
