I visited The Coffee Room in Chandler’s Ford on Christmas Eve, and treated myself with a nice pot of tea and a hot mince pie.
It was a windy morning, but the coffee room was warm, and it was a great surprise to have bumped into some old friends too.
There in the Coffee Room at the Methodist Church, I saw this familiar, beautiful Nativity Set again.
Jane Archer designed the beautiful Nativity scene with a rustic charm. It is a tradition that Jane would create the set each year, using rocks, stones, and fresh green foliage and vegetation from her garden.
Each year, her design is fresh and looks slightly different. It is a unique and the most appealing Nativity scene.
Jane was serving coffee in the morning and I asked her how many years she has displayed her Nativity scene at the Coffee Room. “About 16 years,” Jane replied.
