St. Boniface Choir Fundraising

May 26, 2014 By Hugh Benham 2 Comments

The Choir of St. Boniface church, Hursley Road held a coffee morning, cake stall and raffle recently to help raise funds for new books for the Evensong service (most Sundays at 6.30).

Well over £200 was added to the choir’s bank account as a result, and the books will be bought soon.

The event was an opportunity for the choir to meet members of the congregation (and vice versa). A notice displayed outside the church invited passers-by to join the event.

Watch this space for more news of the choir and its activities shortly.

Thank you Hugh for such a lovely morning. I bought a yummy spice cake as all the ‘slimming’ chocolate cakes had gone!
