July 5, 2015 By SO53 News 1 Comment

Twenty Two year 7-10 pupils from Toynbee School are performing in a production of Little Shop of Horrors on the 8th, 9th and 10th July (Wednesday to Friday).

Directed by Toynbee School Drama and Music departments, Little Shop of Horrors is a comedy horror musical about a strange and interesting plant.

Seymour Krelborn is a meek and dejected assistant at a floral shop who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II” after his crush at the shop. Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, and an unquenchable thirst for human blood.

The show is a lively and entertaining comedy featuring catchy songs and with fantastic props and scenery made by the school’s art and technology departments.
