Top 9 Article Series in Chandler’s Ford Today 2014

December 30, 2014 By Janet Williams 2 Comments

On Chandler’s Ford Today, we pride ourselves on creating value-added posts to you.

In the past year, we have a strong team of 50 local writers, authors, and contributors.

If you wrote one post in the past year, thank you for a great start.

If you wrote 20, 30, 50 posts, thank you for your perseverance, and the challenge that you set yourself. (Your productivity also proves my occasional nagging works.)

You’ll have noticed this site is organic: our posts, written by writers with different perspectives, are linked.

One idea bounced off another; one post triggered another. We work as a team and make this site a highly recommended site by Eastleigh Borough Council.

Today let’s celebrate 9 incredible article series on Chandler’s Ford Today.

1) Chandler’s Ford War Memorial Series: Margaret Doores shares a series of five posts, on the lives of those whose names appear on the Chandler’s Ford War Memorial.

2) Dispatches from Sri Lanka: Mike Sedgwick’s Sri Lankan series is informative, entertaining, and, funny.

3) Soaring the Pyrenees: Mike’s hobby is rather strange. Join Mike Sedgwick on his gliding trip.

5) Central Precinct of Chandler’s Ford: epicduda and I have both contributed to this series. You’ll get to know some traders, the endearing Christmas lights switching on celebration, and the best kept secret in Chandler’s Ford in this series.

6) Travel Journal: Brian Green has enlightened us with his memorable school trips and the Holy Land trip with us.

7) Montgomery of Alamein School: Brian Green taught at Montgomery of Alamein School in Winchester for 22 years. This series shares stories and historical pictures of the school. Thanks to Michael Burford and Brian Green for your contributions.
