Hursley Road – New Cafe SANDELI Opened Today

May 7, 2013 By Janet Williams 5 Comments

I walked along Hursley Road this afternoon, and was surprised by the cheerfulness of the Union Jack bunting of this shop — SANDELI.

This is actually a new cafe, which opens today. It’s on No 149, Hursley Road, SO53, Chandler’s Ford, on the corner of Common Road.

Sendali (SO53) on Hursley Road opened in May 2013
Sendali (SO53) on Hursley Road opened in May 2013.

I went in and had a chat with the owners, Simon and Paula Wrankmore. They told me they’re the new owners of this cafe and they’re excited about their new adventure. Simon told me he used to be a head chef, and he’s been in the catering industry for over 20 years, but to run a cafe, it’s their first time.

The opening of SANDELI on Hursley Road is definitely a wonderful news to local residents and businesses.

The cafe also provides a small eat-in area.

I wish Simon and Paula all the best in their new business.

Unfortunately this place leaves a sour taste in mouth. Good luck to the new owners you’re going to need it.
