This morning, I met Karen Stephen and Catherine Griffin at the local produce and craft market.
They were promoting their first book: Secret Lives of Chandlers Ford: A Collection of Short Stories.
Mike introduced this book and its four authors before in this post.
The market was held at the Age Concern Centre on Brownhill Road (just next to the Co-op and the Fryern Arcade).
There’ll be two more Chandler’s Ford Produce and Craft Markets before Christmas: Saturday 29th October, and Saturday 26th November 2016. The time is from 10am to 1pm.
Last year I helped promoting the market to the community. I hope we could all support our local crafters and traders, and writers, by visiting these markets.

Some people bought Christmas presents this morning. The atmosphere was great. It’s lovely to see a good market in Chandler’s Ford – food, books, crafts, toys… Next time you’ll be selling your book there too (and at Chandler’s Ford railway station).
