The Hospice Shop

June 9, 2014 By Mike Sedgwick 2 Comments

New in Chandler’s Ford is The Hospice Shop, a charity shop occupying premises at 72 Hiltingbury Road at the corner of Thorold Road and Hiltingbury Road. It used to be a used car showroom.

The shop is appealing for unwanted items and we took some books and toys today. Unfortunately my wife decided to buy something in return but, on the whole, we now have less stuff than previously.

The Hospice Shops runs in aid of The Countess Mountbatten Hospice and Oakhaven Hospice Trust. The shop is looking for volunteers to run it. If you would like to help for a short time, please call in to see the manageress Ms Jan Beavis or call Rob Bush, group manager, on 023 8077 1159.

There is a book room for browsing, the usual bric-a-brac and some really nice looking furniture.
