Note: The events below took place in 2013.

Although the summer’s nearly over, there are still be some great days in the autumn which are perfect for cycling and keeping active.

According to Mary Wallbank, Chandler’s Ford local Breeze rides coordinator, the dates for Breeze bike rides for women between now and Christmas are as follows:

Friday 20th September 10am – visit to Fleming Park – 6 miles
Thursday 17th October 9.30am – Green Adventure – 7 miles
Friday 15th November 9.30am – Introductory ride – 6 miles
Thursday 19th December 9.30 am – Christmas ride – 8 miles

They all depart from Chandler’s Ford Railway station car park.

On Sunday 13th October there’s a community event at Chandler’s Ford station to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Chandler’s Ford Railway Station Re-opening. Mary will be leading a ‘Fun, family ride’ from there at 2pm. It will be an easy 5 mile circular ride – suitable for nearly everyone.

Please contact Mary if you have any questions.
