Wessex Cancer Trust: New Charity Shop in Chandler’s Ford

There is a new charity shop on Winchester Road in Chandler’s Ford – Wessex Cancer Trust.

The charity shop on 13-14 The Mall is between the Card Gallery and a beauty shop called ea.

The charity shop opened on 3rd October 2015. It’s the fifth charity shop run by Wessex Cancer Trust.

This shop has been opened to specifically support the new Chandler’s Ford Cancer Support Centre, on 91-95 Winchester Road (SO53 2GG).

This new Wessex Cancer Trust Chandler’s Ford Cancer Support Centre will offer befriending, counselling, aromatherapy, reflexology, information, and children’s services.

The Cancer Support Center will open on Tuesday 17th November 2015. The centre will open from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The charity shop opens from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Saturday.

About Wessex Cancer Trust

Wessex Cancer Trust has a Cancer Support Centre based in Chandler’s Ford (91 Winchester Road) as well.

Wessex Cancer Trust helps and supports anyone affected by cancer regardless of age, gender or type of cancer. Their dedicated team are committed to offering free support for as long as people need it, away from a hospital environment.

At all their cancer Support Centres, clients are welcomed by volunteer befrienders who are equipped to provide information, support and a listening ear. A team of specialist counsellors are on hand help deal with the emotional impact of cancer, and complementary therapies aim to improve well-being, help with pain management and increase self-confidence.

    I was looking up the lovely Cancer Charity shop in Chandlers Ford and I noticed you, I live in Bassett and have recently met Latha. I’m looking forward to meeting you when restrictions due to Covid are lifted a little more.
