The Writer’s Process: a talk by Dr. Linda Seger
Writers need to balance the art and the craft and the creative process. The creative process might seem mysterious but there is much that we know about it that can be helpful to writers when creating original work or when confronting writers’ block.
This talk will be relevant to all writers or any creative people working in any of the arts. Linda will also talk about basic screenwriting structure and how to adapt books or stories for film.
Dr. Linda Seger is considered one of the foremost experts on screenwriting in the world. She’s the author of 9 books, most of them relevant to any kind of writing, including
- Making a Good Writer Great
- The Art of Adaptation
Dr. Linda Seger is in Europe for the summer doing a series of seminars and lectures on writing in Austria, Germany, France, and England.
With many thanks to Felicity for passing on the information.
