Seven volunteers spent 90 minutes cleared the disused platform at Chandler’s Ford last Sunday afternoon.
The aim is to provide a clear area on the old platform where a new wooden train planter provided by Eastleigh Men’s Shed will be placed, on Thursday 8 December 2016.

Xelabus has started their new service X5 between Chandler’s Ford and Southampton Airport Parkway stations from Monday 1 September.
This Monday to Friday service will operate from 0700 in the morning to 1900 and is designed primarily to encourage commuters to the industrial and corporate parks in and around Chandler’s Ford to travel by train rather than contribute to the traffic congestion each day. On the 13th of October 2013 (Sunday), Chandler’s Ford celebrated the 10th anniversary of the re-opening of the Chandler’s Ford train station.
