Father Christmas has helped The Round Table to raise over £2,000
So far this year, over £2,000 has been raised by Santa and his Sleigh visiting the homes of local children, and their Medieval Mummers plays performed in Romsey and Ampfield pubs and restaurants.
With your help, they can raise even more for local good causes.
The money will be used to support several seriously ill children, as well as local charities and other good causes. So if you know someone or a cause that deserves our support, please let them know, by completing our application form for funding.
Seasoned fund raiser and Round Table President Garry Lee said, ‘It’s all about fundraising this time of year, but seeing Santa put a smile on the faces of the children he meets when he has one of his little chats with them on the doorstep it really puts a smile on my face too’.
Gemma Forder from Chandler’s Ford said, ‘Isla (aged 4) was very happy and excited to see Father Christmas. Thank you for stopping to say hello to every single child waiting on the corner of the road. The children were mesmerised.’
