Round Table Brings Santa to Chandler’s Ford

December 1, 2015 By SO53 News Leave a Comment

Father Christmas will be taking to the streets of Chandler’s Ford in style again this Christmas, thanks to the Romsey, Chandler’s Ford and District Round Table travelling across the area, collecting money for local good causes.

The Round Table is one of the world’s largest voluntary clubs for men, offering 18–45 year olds the chance to have a great time whilst making new friends, trying new activities and supporting their local community.

Whilst Santa’s elves have been busy making Frozen Toys ready for the big day, Santa has fitted a GPS tracker in his sleigh, so you’ll know exactly where he is.

This means if you can’t wait for the Round Table to knock on your door, or if they are not coming to your street this year, you are welcome to see if they are nearby and come and find them.

For live updates of Santa’s movements on the nights when Santa will be travelling around Chandler’s Ford, please visit the Facebook page after 6pm weekdays and after 5pm at the weekend when Santa can be tracked as he will be on his rounds.

Where will the Santa Sleigh be travelling in Chandler’s Ford?

On Saturday 12th December: The Santa Sleigh will be travelling through Chandler’s Ford, starting in Bellflower Way at 5.15pm, then Katrine Crescent.

On Friday 18th December: 6pm start from the junction of Skyswood Road and Morgan LeFaye.

On Monday 21st December: Santa will be in Sandringham Close.

Press and Promotional Officer Andrew Reynolds of Romsey, Chandler’s Ford & District Round Table said, “So all we need now is to see you, so please look out for us as we could be coming past your house!”

Andrew told Chandler’s Ford Today that last year, almost £3,000 was raised by door-to-door collections in and around Chandler’s Ford. The money was used to support several seriously-ill children, as well as local charities and other good causes.
