My Recovery Story

April 19, 2014 By Lili 1 Comment

My name is Lili. I was brought up in the Far East. In 1999 I came to Southampton to further my study.

I lived in Chandler’s Ford for many years.

In year 2010, after giving birth to my son, I suffered from mental illness with depression.

It had been a challenging time, but now I’m on the mend. I would like to thank all the medical professionals in the UK who have supported me through my journey of recovery.

Thank you — all the medical staff and organisations. You are saving lives!

I’m grateful for the support I have received from these organisations:

  • Mother and Baby Unit at Melbury Lodge, Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.
  • The Wellbeing Centre run by Solent Mind.
  • Department Of Psychiatry at the Royal South Hants Hospital.
  • The Recovery College
