Thanks to the Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership, I learnt about a fantastic ticket offer from South West Trains this coming Saturday (20 April 2013): unlimited travel from Eastleigh station for only £10 for an adult.
How much will you pay? You’ll only pay £10 (return tickets) for an adult, and £5 for a child (aged 5 – 15). You can travel anywhere on the South West Trains network on this day from Eastleigh with this great offer. Fancy a trip to London, Bournemouth, Canterbury, or Weymouth?
I travelled to London from Southampton Airport Parkway station in February with a child, and even with a railway card, I still paid around £35.
It means that if I travel again this weekend, and start my journey from Eastleigh, I would save £20.
