May 2017 Events in Chandler’s Ford

This is a reminder that two great events will be taking place in Chandler’s Ford tomorrow (Friday 5th May 2017).

One is Fairtrade Fashion Show at St. Martin in the Wood Church: Friday 5th May 7.30pm – 9.30pm.

Another one is a talk run by Fryern Community Association, Aspects of Chandler’s Ford, on Friday 5th May from 7pm.

Aspects of Chandler’s Ford is an illustrated presentation given by John and Hazel Lankaster.

With a kaleidoscope of photos and maps tracing the history of Chandler’s Ford from very early times: forts and barrows, the growth of population and housing, public buildings, the development of farmland and commons, the coming of the railway, wartime recollections and encampments set up for overseas refugees.

Admission is free. Address: Fryern Community Building, Greenways, Chandler’s Ford SO53 2LE.

The Fryern Community Association

The Fryern Community Association are completely independent of the Parish Council. They have recently set up various interesting events and activities at the Fryern Pavilion.
