Swimming is the number one participation sport in the UK, with over 20m people swimming every year. Research shows swimming would be the choice of activity for those who people who are currently inactive.
Spirit are launching the ASA backed Swimfit programme in all their clubs across the UK and Ireland and are inviting members and guests to take up the challenge.
Swimfit is a programme designed to help you achieve your health and fitness goals through swimming. The programme includes swimming programme cards to provide a structured exercise session in the pool, scheduled group swimming classes to provide a motivational exercise session to enjoy with other swimmers and also an on-line coach in the form of a website which enables participants to record their progress and to get further guidance.
