Hog Roast And Murder: The Hursley Homicide

July 9, 2013 By Janet Williams Leave a Comment

Last weekend, I enjoyed a lovely evening trying to solve a murder mystery: The Hursley Homicide.

The Parish Church organised this fantastic event at St. Martin in the Wood.

We tried solving the murder mystery while enjoying a hog roast, fine wine and desserts. It was great to see many local people taking part, including some very smart teenagers.

The entertainment was performed by Mystery of History, led by husband and wife team, Simon & Jenny Cooper. They’re specialists in writing and performing mysteries for historic houses and hotels. They have also been featured on BBC 3 Counties Radio.

It was a fabulous evening, entertaining and a bit challenging. I didn’t quite solve the mystery, but someone at my table did. However, he forgot to write down all the clues, so we lost to another team in the end.
