Below was my original post in 2013:

I enjoy Hursley village, small, peaceful, and simply unique. I enjoyed the wonderful traditional Hursley Fete this morning.

All the money raised today will be shared between John Keble Primary School and All Saints Church.

Hursley is an endearing, thriving village near Winchester. My son used to go to the pre-school there and I remembered one day in 2004, the kids were taken to the local butcher to see how the sausages were made. Afterwards, they were taken to the pub for their ‘pub lunch’.

Congratulations to the Hursley community for such a wonderful, fun-filled summer fete.

Thank you for featuring my Angry Bird Boxes in your piece and my pillow box owls on your flicker page! Please find more of my work on Love from The Fairies. Many thanks from Tracy.

Thank you for your message, Tracy. Your stall was beautiful and your display very attractive. My son ate too much sweets he bought from you in the Angry Bird box. I wish you all the best. Janet
