Wonderful! Free Food And Free Soup In Eastleigh Today

November 23, 2013 By Janet Williams 4 Comments

The Christmas lights will be switched on this evening in Eastleigh on the 23rd of November. During the day, the streets in Eastleigh town centre were filled with excitement.

Market Street and High Street held a variety of stalls and activities.

There were also rock-climbing for children. People were entertained by live band by Panatical: Crestwood College Steel Band.

It was also a good chance to get to know so many charities such as Eastleigh Basics Bank, Oxfam, Sophie’s Appeal, and Fairtrade in Eastleigh Borough.

The Litten Tree

I was surprised that some stalls offered FREE food and drinks to the public. The Litten Tree on the High Street in Eastleigh offered everyone lovely food and hot drinks. We had some marshmallow chocolate and turkey sandwiches.

Soup Kitchen

Soup Kitchen also offered soups for anyone who needed to keep nourished and warm.
