The website of Eastleigh Borough Council says:

“It is with great sadness that the Borough Council has to inform you that Councillor Tony Noyce passed away yesterday. Tony was a Councillor for eight years, a West End parish councillor since 2003 and held the office of Mayor last year. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.”

On the 10th of August 2014, Eastleigh Mayor Cllr Tony Noyce attended the With Syria Community Fundraiser in Chandler’s Ford.

The Leader of Eastleigh Borough Council, Cllr Keith House paid a tribute saying:

“Tony was passionate about his community in West End and worked relentlessly on the Borough and Parish Councils. Just as importantly he was a nice chap too. His popularity was such that he was last year’s Mayor.

Tony’s short but devastating illness has been a shock to everyone and most of all of course his family who we are all thinking about at today’s news.”
