There is an active fundraising movement in Chandler’s Ford for the new Ramalley Hall.

You can support the new Ramalley Hall in many ways, such as buying Lego Brick Cufflinks.

Or, why not enjoy a Comedy Night at The Hilt on Sunday 15th of March?

About Ramalley Hall

The new building was designed by Jon Dale Architects and approved by Eastleigh Borough Council in March 2014. The design concept is based around a key scouting image – the tent – although the Hall is used by all ages across the Chandler’s Ford Community.

The total project cost is estimated to be £300,000, of which approximately £100,000 has already been raised.

2nd Chandler’s Ford (Ramalley) Scout Group began under a lamppost with four boys and a leader in Common Road, Chandler’s Ford, in 1938.

In the late 1950s a new wooden building was erected by the Scouts and has subsequently been used as a community facility. This hut is now rotting away and the situation was exacerbated in October 2013 when a large oak tree fell on the HQ in the St Jude storms.

In March 2014 planning permission was granted.
