Brambridge Park Craft Club Crafting For Charity

October 2, 2014 By Janet Williams 2 Comments

What happens when local crafters meet at Brambridge Park Garden Centre in Eastleigh?

Jackie Edmunds and a few local crafters meet at Brambridge Park Garden Centre every Wednesday to craft together, swap ideas, and support one another.

Recently the crafters also raised fund for Hampshire Riding Therapy Centre.

I shared with you before how delightful the Brambridge Park Craft Fair was, when I visited in August.

Today, Mrs Sue Potter presented £350 to Flick from Hampshire Riding Therapy Centre, in Fisher’s Pond, Eastleigh. The charity is dedicated to the provision of riding tuition and therapy to adults and children with various disabilities and special needs.

“The money was raised by the Brambridge Park Craft Club and presented as our way of saying a big heart-felt thank you to Simon Baker (Brambridge Manager) and his team for allowing us to craft in the conservatory on Wednesdays and holding craft fairs on the last Saturday of every month.”

I support local crafters and I would also like you to support them, by showing your appreciation and also buying directly from them. By doing so, we promote creativity in the community and help form a stronger network of crafters.

There will be more craft fairs at Brambridge Park from October till Christmas. Address: Kiln Lane, Brambridge, Eastleigh SO50 6HT.

Dates for Brambridge Park Garden Centre Craft Fairs: Oct 25th; Nov 29th and 30th; Dec 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st.

Contact Sue Potter or Jackie Edmunds for more details.
