Beautiful Princess: Once upon a Fairytale

May 28, 2014 By Jade Nicholas 3 Comments

My name is Jade and I’m a 19-year-old student studying Musical Theatre at the American Musical Theatre Academy of London. When my course finishes in July I will be a professional actress making my way in the daunting industry that is show business!

In the meantime I have the desire to feed my entertaining bug, and how better to do so than with children?

Once upon a fairytale - Jade Nicholas.
Once upon a fairytale – Jade Nicholas

I live in Chandler’s Ford and I went to Thornden School and Barton Peveril College. On weekends I am able to come home to my lovely mother and the rest of my family. I’ve worked as a singing tutor with some of the kids in the community and surrounding areas (Bitterne etc) and I found another passion just as strong as my love for Musical Theatre.

I adore the chances that come with teaching and I wondered, how could I spend more time inspiring children? So I’ve come up with the idea of naming myself as a Party Personality and advertising as Once Upon a Fairytale. My idea is to be available for hire at children’s birthdays.

If anybody would like to see a Princess, please just give me a ring and I will do my best to create a fairy tale like you never dreamed. x
Jade: I want to make dreams come true!

I am a costume enthusiast and I have been working on some princess costumes. So far I have Princess Rapunzel, The Little Mermaid, Wendy (from Peter Pan), Beauty (Beauty and the Beast) and Jane (Tarzan). My collection does seem limited but here is where I want my idea to grow. With enough demand I would love to make more and my designs have already started for Sleeping Beauty, Anna (Frozen), Cinderella and many others! I would be open to trying anything as long as my pocket allows, since costume shopping can be very expensive!

Jade is a Party Personality: she designs beautiful costumes and entertains children.

I want to make dreams come true! I thought of this with the idea of a Princess showing up on a child’s birthday completely unexpected, to take pictures, sign autographs, read stories, sing songs, dance – you name it!

I’d love to share my dream with the community so if anybody would like to see a Princess, please just give me a ring and I will do my best to create a fairy tale like you never dreamed. Thank you!

I’m sure parents would love a princess to entertain their kids! Feel free to email me if you’d like to sort an event out! I remember growing up around Peter Green, would be lovely to hear from you! X
